Bestow creatures are pretty good here in particular: affinity does wonders for their typically overexpensive bestow costs, and those bestowed Auras are among the only ones in the game that will stick around even in some form even if the permanent its enchanting dies
With access to blue, this lets you keep up the threat of counterspells, removal, or something nasty with Flash, and if you dont end up needing to use any of that, you get to play this at the end of an opponents turn and untap further ahead in cards and/or mana
Very pricey for the simple bounce effect that it can do, made worse since you need white and blue to do the trick
